Apartment living is something that is very new for me and I am slowly navigating decorating small spaces. As fall marks the begging of my favorite time of the year, I decided to decorate our small Downtown Austin patio with fall decor, you know, just to keep things festive.
To start, I wanted to keep the space classic with a mix of fall colors + decorate on a budget. I’m proud to report that the entire set up cost me $40! If you have been following me for a while, you know that I fully believe in the concept of less is more. I try to find things for my home that are timeless and look absolutely beautiful! For my inspiration, I wanted a rustic, lived in feel. I didn’t want the space to look brand new, rather imperfect. I went to a local nursery called The Great Outdoors and came back with pumpkins, mums with a lantana fireworks plant. To set it all up, I sprinkled in my Ikea lanterns on my outdoor dining table set. I’m very pleased with the way it turned out. It’s not a lot of stuff, but still makes a bold statement. I know I’ll be enjoying a lot of cool evening out on the patio in the coming months!
